On this Labor Day, I am thankful to be a part of a team that works hard! Just this year our team has been in over 12 countries, completing tasks that range from installing a water filter in Haiti, building churches in Honduras, completing a due diligence assessment in the Canary Islands, and much more. There is no part of a construction project that is easy, and it takes many hands to make it all come together.

Even as I write, Woody Woodruff is in West Africa leading a team with a goal of building 14 tabernacles.  The days will be long and the work will be challenging.  Woody has even been arrested and put in jail in the past crossing a border while building churches.

At the end of the day, we could have all kinds of big plans to do good, but without the effort of these three groups, we’d be shut down:

1. Builders International Staff:  One of the things I love most about the Builders International team, we are regular people working together in service to others, in a capacity far beyond the sum of all our efforts.  No superstars here, what you see is what you get. However, I can boast in their work as it glorifies God!

2. Construction Teams:  Assemblies of God World Missions has sent out over 300 construction teams this year.  The work these teams do has an incalculable and lasting effect on the kingdom of God.  Not only do they complete an enormous amount of work, they touch the lives of many people.

3. Financial Partners:  Without the selfless giving of others to enable our work, we would be stuck in the mud.  Your faithful and generous support of us in our role as missionaries with Builders International is mission critical.  Thank you for your support!

Happy Labor Day!
