From 1977 to 1982 I lived in Moore, OK at 709 W. 11th St. This was two blocks from the Plaza Towers Elementary School that was destroyed. From the looks of the storm’s path (see picture below with our previous home location), it appears that the home was also destroyed….
From 1977 to 1982 I lived in Moore, OK at 709 W. 11th St. This was two blocks from the Plaza Towers Elementary School that was destroyed. From the looks of the storm’s path (see picture below with our previous home location), it appears that the home was also destroyed. What a reminder of how fragile life is and temporary our possessions are.
